Workshop on market shaping at National Children and Adult Services Conference

IPC Assistant Director Fiona Richardson co-presented a workshop on market shaping at the National Children and Adult Services Conference in November 2016.

With colleagues from the Department of Health, LGA and ADASS, Fiona explored lessons learnt about market shaping and took questions with other members of the panel.  The session touched on the impact of good market shaping as a fundamental tool to maintain a healthy pool of providers, drive up quality and encourage innovation.

IPC has worked to develop policy and practice in market shaping for many years, developing the idea of market position statements and supporting colleagues across the country in working to address all areas of market shaping in national and devolved government and local authorities.
