Claire is a qualified solicitor. She specialised in business law, though is currently non-practising. Her projects have focused mainly on the financial strength of providers and on market analysis for local authorities and regulators.
Since joining IPC as an associate consultant in 2012, Claire has combined consultancy, applied research and evaluation, working on a wide range of projects across adult services. She has particular strengths in assessing provider financial robustness, and in advising on market stability in adult social care, considering the funding, legal structure and financial basis of providers alongside demand.
Claire also works part-time for Fast Track, publishers of league tables in the Sunday Times that feature fast-growing private businesses; this means that she regularly interviews the founders of some of the UK’s most successful private companies.
