Helen McLindon

Associate Consultant

Helen has particular strengths in the field of children’s and maternity commissioning and service provision, including mental health. Helen combines her work at IPC with various roles for local, regional and national NHS.

Before joining IPC as an associate in 2009, Helen worked in children’s nursing and health visiting. This led to roles in clinical management across acute and community settings before she became a children’s and maternity services commissioner within the NHS.

Helen’s particular strengths are in undertaking independent service reviews – either planned or following critical incidents – including analysis and action planning, identifying and implementing service change, individual support to commissioners and senior managers, supporting governance, performing audits, and writing relevant supporting documentation.
