Jackie Daru

Principal Consultant

Jackie has a strong track record in managing both consultancy and software development projects for providers, councils, regional and central government. She has worked on projects addressing the management of information, commissioning and market shaping.

With a background in IT including programming, technical support, system administration, systems analysis, systems design and training, Jackie joined IPC in 1999. She supports organisations at a strategic level to manage information, choose the right software, and make effective use of technology.

Jackie’s specialism is in informatics in social care, including data collection and analysis, information sharing, and the use and development of technologies to facilitate this. With particular skills in usability, Jackie develops websites to support the social care sector, and helps organisations to design their own online spaces. Experienced in training and development, Jackie is also an academic advisor for students on our short courses, and is a marker and verifier of assessments.
