Paul McGloin

Knowledge Transfer Fellow

Paul brings many years’ experience and an extensive background in planning, management and commissioning at a senior level across health and social care. He has worked with local authority members, senior managers and health professionals on a wide range of consultancy projects.

An IPC associate since April 2009, Paul has been a member of senior management teams in London and at county level where he has led important change programmes in local authorities and public health. He has managed third sector commissioning, local area agreements (LAAs) and strategic needs assessments. His last local authority/NHS joint post was as deputy director of public health at West Sussex County Council.

Paul has broad experience of staff development and coaching across disciplines. He tutors many of IPC's accredited postgraduate courses inlcuding on commissioning, performance management and change.
