Who we work with
IPC works for better outcomes through well-run, evidence-based public care. Our clients include national, regional and local governments, NHS organisations, schools, and private and voluntary sector providers of care and support across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
We have worked with most local authorities in England and many CCGs as well as providers of all types. We have provided support to some of the largest local authorities – Birmingham, Essex, Kent – as well as some of the smallest, working with them to reflect their specific needs. We work regularly with the Department of Health, the Department for Education and Skills for Care often undertaking applied research and evaulation. We have developed bespoke training programmes for many care and support provider organisations.
We have worked for every local authority and local health board in Wales. We continue to have a very active engagement across the country, including with the Care Council for Wales and Social Services Improvement Agency (SSIA), and we are currently supporting authorities and regions to implement the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014.
We have worked across Scotland with both integrated health and social care partnerships and the Scottish Government. For example, we conducted a demand-and-supply analysis of learning disability services in Moray and prepared a joint commissioning strategy for adults with learning disabilities.
We are currently working with Tusla, Ireland’s Child and Family Agency, to support a national market facilitation development programme to further enhance commissioning of children’s services in Ireland in line with the national commissioning guidance.
