Team Manager Development Programme for Wales

IPC is commissioned by the Social Services Improvement Agency to deliver this programme for social care team managers across Wales.

On completion of the programme you will have a better understanding of the drivers influencing practice quality in social care and be better equipped to make good case-management decisions. The programme comprises three modules, delivered over a year, which include taught days, individual support, facilitated action learning sets and assessed assignments as well as self-study:

On successful completion of the programme, you will gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Managing Practice Quality in Social Care (60 CATS credits at postgraduate level 7).

  • Demand and capacity

Evidencing Performance and Quality

  • Promoting and embedding evidence-based practice
  • Monitoring, review and analysis
  • Managing external audit, inspection and review

Leading and Managing for Quality

  • Team leadership in social care
  • Managing the performance of individuals within the team
  • Leading and supporting change

On successful completion of the programme, you will gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Managing Practice Quality in Social Care (60 CATS credits at postgraduate level 7).
