Workforce leadership
A new course for people who lead the social care workforce
Your workforce is your most expensive and valuable resource. At a time when direct funding for social care is reducing, you need to ensure that workforce leadership is effective in your organisation.
This stimulating new four day course from Oxford Brookes University will help you to ensure that you find, develop and retain the best staff possible. The course focuses on practical skills: it is highly interactive and will equip you with tools, methods and transferable skills to apply in your organisation.
We are now taking bookings for the next four day course in Bath 3 & 4 October |

The course is aimed at senior operational managers, HR managers and workforce development managers in provider organisations and local authorities. Attendance will help you to develop the right skills mix to operate successfully and maximise workforce retention and satisfaction.
Our course tutors are practitioners working in social care, who combine direct experience of the sector with an exceptional ability to teach and support professional learning.
IPC is a partner organisation of the Centre for Workforce Intelligence (CfWI), offering expertise and advice on social care.
