Social care digital transformation - new report to evidence care outcomes and financial savings

IPC is working in collaboration with the Local Government Association (LGA) and the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) in early 2020 to produce a report that captures best practice nationally for where investment in technology in adult social care has improved outcomes for individuals and created opportunities for financial efficiency.

Key to the report will be the selection of case studies from councils across the country who can evidence financial benefits and/or improved outcomes arising from the application of digital technology, particularly within the context of:

  • technology-enabled care
  • managing front-door demand for social care
  • making existing service delivery for staff more efficient
  • procurement and commissioning
