Adults Commissioning and Contracting Training Conference

IPC delivered two workshops at the National Commissioning and Contracting Training Conference:

Market Position Statements – how do we get them to fulfil their potential?

Learn about the latest thinking on MPSs and contribute to a current project to update the guidance. IPC is currently refreshing national Market Position Statement (MPS) guidance and their MPS database in conjunction with the LGA. This session shared good practice in constructing and using MPSs to shape the provider market. There was an opportunity to say what you’d like to see in the revised guidance.

Developing Provider Pathway Alliances

IPC is supporting Isle of Wight health and social care commissioners to form service provider alliances around outcomes focussed care pathways, reducing delays in commissioning new care pathways and achieving system-wide efficiencies and savings.
