IPC update regarding COVID-19

We at IPC continue to send our thoughts and our gratitude to all of you working across the health and social care sector throughout the UK, providing the very best possible care to our fellow citizens, and indeed ourselves and our loved ones. Thank you.

In the coming months we will all need to change plans, cancel or postpone things, often at short notice. At IPC we are playing our part by finding different ways to get our work done with a reduced team or by pausing our projects with minimum fuss wherever necessary. The safety of the public, our clients, staff and associates is paramount. We will find a way through this together, and we will do whatever we can to support you. Over the next few months we can help with things like:

  • Coaching or mentoring if you are trying to redesign services, co-ordinate provision or coping with traumas in your team and you need space to talk it through.
  • Access to relevant literature, best practice or evidence to inform your work.
  • Putting you in touch with colleagues elsewhere in the country dealing with similar issues.
  • Virtual learning or reflection sessions for teams who need an opportunity to regroup or rethink.

Just drop us a line and we will respond as positively and quickly as possible. For students on our accredited courses, we appreciate that you may not be able to undertake any work on your assignments at the moment. We would like to reassure you that we will take this into consideration and will reschedule assignment deadlines if needed. We will review the situation on a regular basis and keep in touch with our students.

We know you will be worried about your health and that of your loved ones, just as we are. We wish you all well and trust that by pulling together we will come through it – hopefully into a world with a much wider recognition of the fundamental importance of high quality health and social care.
