Researching the use of technology in care services

Provider care services wanted to volunteer to take part

As we use more technology in care services, it is vital that people’s information is kept secure, and that the systems we use are reliable. This national research programme will look at how care services are using technology and how providers can best be supported to maintain data security and good information governance.

IPC are working collaboratively with the Care Provider Alliance, LGA and the Department of Health and Social Care to understand the level of risk for providers and identify how best to support the sector. The research will take place in three local authority areas: North Yorkshire, Central Bedfordshire and Greenwich. We are looking for providers of all types, sizes and levels of use of technology that operate in any of these areas. You will receive funding to cover the costs of taking part.

Contact Fiona Richardson to discuss the research and how to take part.
