Clare has thirty years of experience working in the public and third sectors, including local government and the NHS. Her wide ranging job roles have included frontline work in housing associations, operational management at senior level in children’s services as well as strategic commissioning across children’s, adult’s and public health services.
Clare is particularly interested in tacking inequalities and working on projects with population groups that have complex needs including teenage parents, substance misusers, looked after children and people with mental health needs.
Before joining IPC Clare was a Health Improvement Principal at Oxfordshire County Council where she commissioned a range of services for 0-19 year olds including health visiting and school health nursing, as well as adult weight management programmes and mental wellbeing. She believes strongly in early intervention and prevention as the best way to improve outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
