Fiona has over 20 years’ experience of leading capability-building programmes and brings an extensive understanding of how best to support the development of managers and practitioners from all sectors in public care.
Before joining IPC in 2000, Fiona worked for not-for-profit organisation the New Work Trust as business college manager, managing the training department as well as delivering learning support to a wide range of groups. Her career began in the private sector, first as a materials analyst then as a purchasing manager for Bunzl plc.
Fiona’s capability-building experience ranges across local authorities, NHS organisations, national governments, plus providers of care and support. Her specific areas of expertise include organisational learning and development, commissioning and market development plus research and evaluation. She is an experienced manager of complex change programmes and a qualified facilitator and coach with experience of supporting the development of senior managers and practitioners in public care.
