Clare has experience of supporting partners to develop new models of service provision in response to new policy directions in reablement, public health and leisure services. She has strong experience and interest in bringing teams and partner organisations together, facilitating mutual understanding towards finding common purpose and direction. Her experience includes working in NHS and local government cultures with councillors, executives, management teams, unions and service users and carers. She has facilitated service improvements and transformations in adult social care, primary care, NHS community services and commissioned leisure services. Clare has a particular interest in workforce planning and development and enjoys helping teams discover new possibilities and realising them. Clare is currently working in the DHSC Regional Assurance Team for Adult Social Care on the impact of the pandemic on adult social care services and advising on aspects of implementing adult social care reform.

Clare joined IPC as an Associate in 2019 and has worked on projects as critical friend and evaluator. Projects include community wellbeing network development, digital developments in social care and post registration training and development of social workers.
