Richard Timms

Richard is a highly experienced leader with over 35 years of knowledge working in a range of disciplines including adult social care, human resource management, workforce development and organisational development.

An associate consultant with IPC since 2015, Richard has extensive experience of supporting organisations to reduce employee attrition, improving internal and external partnerships and developing positive workplace cultures.

His particular strengths lie in partnership working, service review and development, change management, group facilitation, project management and training.

Before joining IPC, Richard was a senior manager in a local authority in England, leading on workforce development for adult and children’s services and integrated service models. He has managed a variety of complex services including the re-design and implementation of a service transformation programme for over 300 staff to support the delivery of a new social care access model.
