The future of digital skills development in adult social care

Taking forward recommendations from the Adult Social Care Digital Skills Review

Thursday 10 March 2022 1.30-4.30pm

The Adult Social Care Digital Skills review was commissioned by NHSX* and led by Ipsos MORI, Skills for Care and the Institute of Public Care. The Institute's Director, Fiona Richardson, is speaking at this event hosted by Skills for Care on behalf of the NHS Transformation Directorate.

The Adult Social Care Digital Skills review (conducted in parallel with The Adult Social Care Technology Review) is the starting point in delivering on the White Paper's vision for digital transformation. It examined current use and effectiveness of digital technology in adult social care and the current digital capabilities of the workforce as well as potential future need.

This interactive event will be invaluable to those in supervisory or workforce development roles in adult social care at all stages of their digital transformation journey. Attendees will gain a greater understanding of recommendations outlined in the digital skills review as well as having an opportunity to provide feedback and insight on priority areas. There will also be presentations from organisations who can demonstrate practical examples of digital skills development in action.
