The Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP) Outcomes Framework Report describes the work done between November 2017 and April 2018 and how the Making Safeguarding Personal Outcomes Framework will be used to drive the next phase of this work during 2018/19.
The MSP Outcomes Framework aims to enable Directors and SABs to understand what difference they are making in helping people to keep safe, assess progress in implementing Making Safeguarding Personal and compare themselves with each other.
It is hoped that use of the framework will enable councils and SABs across England to better identify how practice is impacting on outcomes, indicate areas for improvement, enable benchmarking using LG Inform and other reports and share best practice learning. The experience of using the framework in 2018/19 will inform whether further development is required.
