Marisa Douglas

Associate Consultant

Marisa specialises in organisational development and change consultancy. She is a Qualified Social Worker with over 30 years’ experience working across the voluntary, private, and public sectors. She has a keen interest in organisational life, leadership, performance, and wellbeing. Her expertise lies in project planning and implementation, strategy development, change management, team development and leadership.

Prior to joining IPC, Marisa was involved in supporting and actively embedding the implementation of an Innovation Programme to reframe the delivery of Child Protection Services in Hertfordshire. She has also managed Residential children’s homes and established London units specialising in offering bespoke support to children with significant emotional, social and educational needs.

Marisa has also implemented and rolled out the ‘The Academy’, a unique development programme for newly qualified social workers and led on the development and implementation of exploitation services for local authorities in England and Wales.

Marisa works with clients across a broad spectrum of disciplines and has trained and practiced in The Systems Psychodynamic Tavistock tradition. Her expertise lies in working with the full complexity of organisational life.
