Prior to joining IPC in 2012, Dr Sue Wise was Deputy Headteacher for a special school and specialist behaviour service. Her career has focussed on the education of vulnerable children, removing barriers to their learning and supporting inclusive practices in schools. Her specific expertise is in the support of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and in particular those who have Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD).
Her work with IPC has involved her in a number of projects concerned with developing and improving children’s’ services and support for families. She also works for an organisation which provides schools, colleges, nurseries, voluntary and parent groups with specialist services and consultancy to improve learning and well-being outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
