Learning Disability Services

Ordinary lives

People with learning disabilities and/or autism want to lead ordinary lives and do the things that most people take for granted. They want to study at college, get a job, have relationships and friendships and enjoy leisure and social activities.

At IPC we help our clients to embed an approach to learning disability that promotes an “ordinary life”. You need whole sector, creative solutions that challenge traditional service models, because often their very design separates people with learning disabilities from the rest of the community and hence prevents them from living ordinary lives.
