2. Build a Better Future in Care Purchasing and Brokerage: Specialist Courses for Professionals Supporting Adults & Children

Unlock the expertise to make informed, person-centered care purchasing decisions that deliver value, quality, and impact. Whether you’re new to care brokerage, arranging individual placements for adults and/or children, or looking to deepen your knowledge, our specialist training equips you with the tools, confidence, and strategies needed to navigate the complex world of care purchasing.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Practical skills in commissioning and sourcing care for adults and children across social care including effectively managing referrals, negotiating and working effectively with providers

3. New to commissioning: Learn the Principles 

This is a foundation level course aimed at anyone new to commissioning who would benefit from understanding key principles.  This short course is aimed at colleagues who are new to commissioning roles or for colleagues who influence or impact commissioning within their roles, but may not be ‘traditional’ commissioning officers e.g. contract monitoring officers or practitioners. 

This a value based course which is:

  • outcome focused
  • evidence based
  • person centered.
