North of Tyne collaboration

The Children’s Social Care Innovation Programme aims to test and share effective ways of supporting vulnerable children and young people who need help from children’s social care services. IPC has been heavily involved in the evaluation of the scheme.

This report summarises the findings from the evaluation of a project across 3 local authorities (Newcastle, Northumberland and North Tyneside) concerned with developing a shared business plan to underpin further collaboration between the local authorities in the design and delivery of children’s social care services.
