Join us to hear how Bridgend Children and Family Services have approached recovery and improvement following a period of significant challenge, including critical incidents and complex inspection outcomes over the past five years.
In this session, senior leaders from Bridgend will reflect on the sustained programme of work undertaken to strengthen services, including developments in practice, workforce design, and service configuration during a time of substantial organisational change within the local authority.
This webinar will be particularly relevant to leaders responsible for children and family services within Local Authorities.
The discussion will offer practical insight into how organisations can respond constructively to crisis events, sustain improvement over time, and support leaders and teams through periods of heightened scrutiny and change. Participants will be encouraged to consider approaches that may be applicable within their own local contexts, both at an organisational and personal leadership level.
The webinar will conclude with an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the speakers through a live Q and A session.
The webinar will be hosted by Dr Caroline Dowson, IPC Senior Consultant, and we are delighted to be joined by guest speakers David Wright, Deputy Head of Children and Family Services and Raeanna Grainger, Group Manager, Children and Family Services, from Bridgend County Borough Council.
