Our highly popular introductory workshop bring teams together to explore the foundations of effective commissioning. Delivered in-person, these interactive sessions help colleagues understand key concepts, roles, and responsibilities — essential for creating a consistent, organisation-wide approach to commissioning.
The workshop aims to ensure everyone has a shared understanding of the definition of commissioning and their role within the commissioning cycle. This is important: commissioning is a shared endeavour, impacted and shaped by many professionals – operational and strategic colleagues alike.
The fee is £5,000 for a full-day workshop, including skills audit and analysis.
If you would like to have an informal conversation about what the workshop entails, please reach out to us at ipc_courses@brookes.ac.uk or call 01865 951902.
Please note our Cancellation and Non-Attendance Policy applies to all bookings.
This type of workshop offers the perfect opportunity to deliver a skills audit of a directorate or team’s skills, confidence and knowledge in key commissioning skills and competencies to support the ongoing planning for the training and development needs of your staff around public care commissioning.
Large teams (e.g. 20–50 staff) at varied levels of experience who need a shared starting point.
