VAWSVDA agenda
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) agenda, IPC is pleased to announce new partnerships that will drive meaningful progress, foster collaboration, and promote high-quality practice across the sector.
IPC is currently working with two clients on projects related to the VAWSVDA agenda:
Creating a dataset to measure the impact of Mid and West Wales Violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence strategy
IPC is supporting the development of a regional dataset to measure delivery of the VAWDASV Strategy in the Mid and West Wales region.
By bringing together meaningful and sustainable data, the project will help partners assess their progress against a strategy, better demonstrate impact, identify areas for improvement, and strengthen the evidence base for future decision-making across the region.
Evaluation of the hospital-based Independent Domestic Violence Advisor service in Oxfordshire
Oxfordshire’s hospital-based Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service commenced in May 2024 as a pilot, initially funded by Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse for 12 months. Following the pilot year, the service has been extended and is now funded by Public Health, Oxfordshire County Council (Public Health).
Public Health has appointed IPC as an evaluation partner to carry out a formative evaluation to review the experiences of the service to date and develop a monitoring and evaluation framework.
