Aspirant Middle Manager Programme (AMMP)

Deadline Friday 28th June 2024. Please contact your local authority’s workforce lead.

Are you ready to elevate your career in social care? The Institute of Public Care at Oxford Brookes University, in collaboration with ADSS Cymru and Social Care Wales, proudly presents Cohort 3 of the Aspirant Middle Manager Programme (AMMP)!

AMMP bridges the gap between our Team Manager and Middle Manager Develop Programmes, providing a unique opportunity to “test the middle management waters.” If you have at least three years of post-qualifying experience and some management exposure, this is your chance to see if a middle management role like Service Manager, Principal Officer, or Locality Manager is right for you.

What’s included?

  • Interactive Group Sessions: Four half-day virtual sessions to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Mentoring: Receive guidance from senior managers in other local authorities.
  • Peer Learning Network: Connect and grow with fellow aspirants throughout and beyond the programme.

Please contact your local authority’s workforce lead by Friday 28th June 2024 if you would like to be considered for a place. There are a maximum of 15 places available. Cohort 3 will take place from September 2024 to May 2025.
