In recent years, harms inflicted by gambling have become an increasing public health concern. They can include financial harms, harms to relationships and harms to health. They can also extend beyond the individuals who gamble and affect others – especially partners and children – as well as wider family and social networks.
This webinar will present the experiences of a system-wide collaboration in Wiltshire aimed at designing and implementing targeted activities that respond to local population characteristics and needs, to prevent and reduce gambling harms.
The event will be interactive and provide opportunities to share and compare practice, and to inspire and get inspired to build a broad coalition to tackle gambling harms in local populations.
We will be joined by guest speakers Kelly Fry, Public Health Principal, and Katherine Hoskin, Public Health Practitioner, Wiltshire Council.
