Katy Burch, Assistant Director at IPC, joined a panel of experts to discuss innovation and frontline social care in a new podcast sponsored by Hampshire County Council.
Katy said, “Hampshire developed a great approach tapping into learnings from previous innovations in children’s social care to help them develop a relationship and strengths-based model for social work. At IPC our evaluation explored how to remodel children’s social care practice through the lens of this ‘Hampshire Approach’ led by their Children’s team.”
Other panel contributors included, Judy Cooper, Associate Editor with Community Care, Emily Hassan, team manager of a children’s assessment and safeguarding team in Hampshire and Mhairi Macdonald, a social worker with one of Hampshire’s children in care teams.
