Beverley has played a significant role in the development and embedding of Family Drug and Alcohol Courts and trauma-informed approaches within the family justice system. She has advised the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood and currently serves as a trustee of Kinship. She is also a member of the UK Trauma Council, an advisor to the Parent-Infant Foundation’s PAIRS Framework Expert Advisory Group, and a member of the Expert Advisory Panel for The JABBS Foundation supporting women and girls.
In 2023, Beverley founded the Racial Justice Family Network. Her contributions to the sector have been recognised with an MBE and an Honorary Doctorate, awarded in 2018 and 2024 respectively.
