Dr Donna Winston is an interdisciplinary researcher with nearly 20 years of experience in both public and private sector settings. She began her career as a mixed-methods social scientist focused on interviewing, facilitating focus groups, creating questionnaires, statistically analysing quantitative data and synthesising research findings for report writing. More recently Donna applies data analytics and machine learning techniques to research questions. Her research interests include programmes targeted at children and youth in learning contexts as well as health-related interventions. Donna’s work has informed policy and practice change at the local, regional and national level. She holds a PhD and has global research experience in three different continents.
