Simon is a qualitative research professional with 25 years’ experience of conducting and coordinating social and policy research for the public, private and tertiary sectors. He has recruited and moderated focus groups, co-ordinated public engagement exercises and conducted depth interviews in the UK and overseas, in person and remotely.
He has worked across a range of policy areas including, but not limited to: Health and social care; Education; Arts and culture; Crime and justice; Defence and armed forces; International aid and development; Tax and revenue; and Science and innovation. In recent years, Simon’s work has been at the cutting edge of contemporary social policy research, eliciting insight on potentially sensitive subject areas from traditionally seldom-heard groups.
