Ellie came to IPC with experience in a range of research projects with older adults, stroke survivors and the general public. She studied a Bsc in Applied Psychology (Clinical) at University of Exeter and has skills including quantitative data analysis, writing for different audiences, survey design and interviewing.
Since joining IPC in March 2022, she has supported a wide range of projects. These include many evaluations of local authority and third sector services (including Dad Matters Too for Wiltshire Council and an A&E Support Worker service for Barnardo’s). She has helped to design and analyse the results of surveys in areas ranging from young people’s transitions to adulthood to adult social care management and decision-making of commissioners in children’s service. She is passionate about improving health and social care and addressing health inequalities, and recognizes the work IPC can do to contribute to this.
