Jo holds extensive experience in applied social research and evaluation. She has led the design and delivery of research projects to support service and policy development for non-profits, public sector and other social impact organisations. She has worked across a range of social care issues, including housing and homelessness, health inclusion and child welfare.
Jo is skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research, and has conducted research with diverse audiences, ranging from charity, local authority and NHS staff through to people experiencing homelessness, those with serious health conditions and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. She also has expertise in evaluation design, theory of change development, workshop facilitation and participatory methods. Jo previously worked in research and evaluation consultancy roles at Homeless Link and nfpResearch and has a Masters in Social Policy (Research) from the London School of Economics.
