IPC – Adoption England’s Evaluation Partner

We are delighted to announce that IPC have been commissioned to be Adoption England’s Evaluation Partner. We will be helping the national strategic team to share learning and themes emerging from new initiatives and development activities. These are being rolled out by Regional Adoption Agencies and other stakeholders in support of the national Adoption Strategy (2021).

We will be delivering this work in collaboration with colleagues from the Centre for Research on Children and Families (CRCF), University of East Anglia.

Until June 2025, our initial work will include the evaluation of England-wide innovations covering:

  • the take up, value and impact of ‘activity days’ and ‘exchange events’
  • and grant funded matching and early permanence projects.

This important project links to other work IPC are conducting and/or have completed in this area for example, an Evaluation of Multi-Disciplinary (MD) Approaches to Adoption Support and the Evaluation of the Adoption Support Fund (2018-2022).

To find out more, please contact Professor Katy Burch or Dr Amy Simpson.
